Engineered wood, also called mass timber or composite wood includes a range of derivative wood products which are manufactured by binding or fixing the strands, particles, veneers or boards of wood together with adhesives to form composite material. Engineered wood is engineered to precise design specifications which are tested to meet national and international standards and provide uniformity and predictability in their structural performance. Harlequin's range of Engineered wood floors consist of cross ply layers glued one on top of the other with a top layer of real wood.
They look just like solid wood floors, but their creative construction makes them more stable, more durable and more cost effective than solid wood equivalents.
