Certikin iSAVER Pool Pump Inverter - Variable Pump Speed Controller 1. Description Pump inverters allow a standard single speed pool circulation pump to run at different speeds. They effectively convert a single speed pool pump into a variable speed pool pump. Allowing the pump to run at a slower speed reduces power consumption to reduce electricity running costs. Reducing the pump speed often does not significantly affect the filtration of the pool as less pressure in the filter can allow a higher flow rate through the filter media. The iSaver pump inverter also includes a timer to control the pool circulation pump. The pump can be programmed to run at different speeds for each time programme For example in the winter, the pool pump could be set to just run for 4hrs per day on a slow speed, whereas in the summer, it could run at a medium speed during the day and turn off at night. The units work with virtually all single phase pool circulation pumps. Two sizes are available:- For circulation pumps up to 1.0HP (output power up to 1.1kw from inverter) For circulation pumps up to 2HP (output power up to 2.2kw from inverter) Please order the relevant model to suit your pool circulation pump. 2. Installation The iSAVER Pool pump inverter is supplied with a 2.5m cable to pump and 90cm cable to plug and is compatible with 95% of single speed pool pumps. Installation typically takes less than 30 minutes. Clever-Pool is CE approved, simply connect the Clever-Pool (via an RCD) to the mains supply in the plant-room and wire the circulation pump into the Clever-Pool. 5. Specifications 6.
