We can supply a soft-start for any heat pump. Our soft starts can be used for pool heat pumps or for any type of heat pump, eg domestic heat pumps They are available for single or 3-phase heat pumps. Why do I need a Soft Start for my Heat Pump? Adding a soft-start to your heat pump reduces the initial startup current of the heat pump to prevent a power "spike" when the heat pump starts. This can help to prevent the main fuse from tripping when the heat pump starts. They are normally used where the property has a "sensitive" electrical installation.
