Kit 2 Above Ground Swimming Pool Connection Kit When installing an above ground pool, you may find it confusing to attach all the different hoses as each pool/pump and filter and heat pump comes with different connections. At Heatpumps4Pools Ltd we have tried to make this task as easy as possible but there are a few different factors to take into account. The basic layout should look like the picture below: We have labelled the 6 connection points so that we can advise where the pieces of the Kit is to be positioned 1-6. Description This kit is ideal for the use with a an above ground pool that has 32mm connections When a 38mm Intex Krystal Clear Sand Filter with the following Heat Pumps: SunSpring 2. This Kit includes the following: 1 x 38mm Intex Hose (1.5m) (Use between the Pump and Filter and the Heat Pump - Connections 3 to 4) 2 x Adaptor B (Connections 1 and 6) 2 x 2" to 1.5" Reducing Nipple (Connections 4 and 5) For our full sizing guide please click on the following link Above Ground Pipe Connection Guide If this kit is not available for any reason then you can also use Kit 3 3. Fitting Guide *Please note: The Krystal Clear pump and filter set is supplied with 2 x Intex Hoses (with the grey nuts, also 38mm - attach both of these two hoses to the adaptor B's that are both now attached to the pool inlet/outlet). The 2 x B Adaptor's can be placed on the 32mm pool connections - this will convert the pool inlet/outlet connections to the 38mm that is required by the 3 hoses*, then the hoses just connect all the equipment together making this a really easy solution. (Connections 1 and 6) *The 1.5m x 38mm Intex Hose comes with two grey nuts which screw on to the pool Adaptor B's connections and also the Krystal Clear connections. (Use between the Pump and Filter and the Heat Pump - Connections 3 to 4) The 2 x 2" to 1.5" Reducing Nipple are screwed in to the SunSpring heat pump (narrow end) allowing you to screw the grey nuts from the hose directly on to the reducing Nipple (wider end). (Connections 4 and 5) If you however need additional hose as you want to position the pump and filter with the heat pump more than 1.5m away from the pool then the option would be to use Kit 3 with some additional 38mm Vacuum Hose. 4.
