Nursecall ceiling pullcords are an integral part of all nursecall systems and are found in communal w/c's and bathrooms as well as in en suite w/c's and bathrooms. The continual use of the nursecall ceiling pullcord means that it is often the first part of a nursecall system to require attention. Sometimes this is just a matter of changing the red triangle at the end of the nursecall ceiling pullcord, in which case see our entry under NC16 where you can get a packet of ten for just £6.90. Other areas of repairable wear and tear to the nursecall ceiling pullcord are with the cord itself. Sometimes this, normally red, cord is tied to things, it becomes knotted, or discoloured or even snapped, in which case see our entry under NC17 where you can get a small 100M spool for a mere £17.26. The picture shows the nursecall ceiling pullcord, part number NC7, also known as the NC807C, in it's old and new styles. The old nursecall ceiling pullcord has two leds. The new nursecall ceiling pullcord, in the foreground, has part of its moulding acting as a diffuser, a much more effective and therefore reassuring effect for users.
