Low Impact Forestry

A targeted specialty of Three Shires is the undertaking of low impact work on sensitive sites. Our broad range of experience allows us to draw upon various techniques which when combined with our specialist equipment means that we can often undertake works under seemingly impossible constraints. Recent works have included removing over-story prior to great crested newt trapping operations, removal of scrub vegetation to allow reptile surveys, removal of woodland with minimal disturbance to ecologically significant calcareous grasses and extracting timber from above badger setts.
