Our sign is fit for a potential queen as a pregnant Duchess of Cambridge travels to Kent
Here at HFE, we have a diverse client base. Usually, it is businesses that get in touch with signage requirements for chains of pubs, gyms or restaurants.
Conversely, we get mysterious requests from individuals and get the order shipped out wondering what’s behind the message requested.
So we were left scratching our heads when a female customer made contact recently with the following simple requirement:
One PVC banner.
Text to say: “Can We Have A Royal Wave Please?”
Image to include some waves and clouds!
The order was duly processed and we thought it was the last we’d see of the banner, only for a member of the HFE team to chance upon a news story on the Daily Mail website this week
The feature centred on a heavily pregnant Kate Middleton visiting the seaside town of Margate, with the Duchess of Cambridge heading to the Turner Contemporary Gallery in keeping with her role as patron of the National Portrait Gallery.
Naturally, the folk of Margate turned out in force to greet the future Queen of Great Britain, with one particular picture catching our eye. There was the banner that had been despatched just days ago, with a group of ladies having draped the banner from a balcony and hoping it would catch the eye of Ms Middleton.
According to the Daily Mail, not only did the lovely Kate spot the banner but she duly responded to the ladies by producing a perfect royal wave to the delight of the HFE customer who had taken the time to order this “call to action”.
So if proof was needed that HFE produce banners designed to catch the eye, you can either choose to read our excellent TrustPilot reviews or alternatively back the judgment of the Duchess of Cambridge who clearly knows a good banner when she sees one.
In the words of the Daily Mail website:
No problem! Well-wishers held up a banner asking for a royal wave - and the Duchess, spotting it, promptly obliged
The Margate customer in question took advantage of our March Madness offer which saw them enjoy a 30% discount off a competitively-priced PVC banner and the rustproof eyelets ensured that the sign was firmly attached for Kate Middleton to notice before she made her way on the royal tour.
Therefore, if you have a member of the royal family paying your neck of the wood a visit and you want to capture their attention rather than hope for the best with a miniature Union Jack, then you know where to come!
You can give us some simple text and design request such as the lady did with the Kate Middleton banner or alternatively use our free design service to produce a winning combination of hard-wearing HFE banner and your catchy marketing message.
