The past 12 months have seen
turnover grow by more than 20 per cent
at Hone-All Precision driven, in part, by
growth from customers in the oil and gas
sector. In order to meet this increased
demand and to plan for future growth,
the company has over the last 12 months
taken delivery of a large capacity Tuscan
CNC lathe and two additional Sunnen
CNC honing machines.
“The Tuscan lathe, with its capability
to swing components up to 970 mm
diameter over the bed and, over four
metres between centres, is opening
up lots of potential new business for
us,” says Hone-All Director, Andrea
Rodney. “In particular, the ability to
trepan large diameter bores has created
the opportunity to machine deep hole
tubular components, with much thinner
wall thicknesses than could previously
be machined on our existing deep hole
boring machines.
