The Ice Systems range of Flake and Chip / Granular Ice Machines are ideal for rapid cooling of food products, from vegetables, to sauce packs, chicken to meat hides, ideal for additional cooling on hydro coolers.
Flake ice consists of wafer-thin chips and has a temperature of about, -8 to – 9 deg C. The large surface area of the chips ensures rapid, efficient, cooling of the sausage mixture, bakery dough, packed fish, fruit, vegetables and water-cooling. Furthermore, due to the dry surface area, the ice flakes do not freeze together or form lumps.
Flake, chip or granular ice particles, may be used on a variety of fresh produce. Icing is particularly effective for perishable items that cannot be readily cooled by other methods. Top icing a fish boxes, will keep the fish moist and fresh. Fruits and vegetables can also be iced, such as, Asparagus, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Carrots and Sweet corn.
The Granular / Chip range ice machines, produces ice at -0.5 deg C, excellent for cooling drinks, making cocktails, animal health treatments and hospital healthcare.
