Hardness Coatings- Metal or Ceramic

Component hardness can be significantly increased by applying numerous metal or ceramic coatings. Serviceable life and wear resistance are considerably improved, particularly when processing abrasive materials including paper and fabric. The hardness coating metals applied can range from Nickel alloys through to Tungsten Carbide. Ceramics include Chrome Oxide and Alumina Oxide.
