The BTS2 (two-pass), BTS3 (threepass)
and BTS4 (four-pass) range of
box silencers offer high levels of
noise attenuation in those cases
where traditional cylindrical
silencers are unsuitable for the
installation. They can be installed in
any plane without affecting the
performance and the inlet(s) and
outlet(s) can be placed in an
appropriate position to aid the
installation procedure.
The surface temperatures are lower
than those for cylindrical silencers
due to a ‘box-within-a-box’ design
that allows the insulation to be
placed between the two casings.
However, occasional hotspots may
exist where any internal plates
meet.
