Typically, the industrial washer initiates a wash cycle with a hot pre-wash ranging between 50 and 55 degrees Celsius, followed by a recirculated detergent wash at the same temperature. Equipped with IWM’s reliable motorised TravelJet system, the washing chamber ensures effective cleaning of weigh pans and ancillaries through corrosion-proof plastic bayonet type water jets or optional stainless steel jets.
Cost-Effective Operations
Users can adjust pre-wash and main wash durations based on the type of weigh pan and the level of soiling. The washing process often concludes with a high-temperature hot rinse, utilising water recirculated from an internal tank between cycles to minimise operational costs and environmental impact. An alternative option includes a recirculated chemical sanitiser rinse.
Eliminating Allergy Contamination
The industrial washer incorporates a dump cycle within the recirculation system, between wash/rinse cycles or at their conclusion, to eliminate allergy contamination from the wash water, meeting the demands of customers with stringent requirements. Thanks to IWM’s innovative design, the dump cycles consume only 100 litres of water.
For quick turnaround requirements, a complete hot air drying equipment can be provided, although typically a hot water rinse suffices to flash dry pans, particularly stainless steel ones, ready for reuse.
