IWM showing new heavy-duty cabinet washer at PPMA

At this year’s PPMA show Industrial Washing Machines (IWM) will be launching a brand new heavy-duty cabinet washer [HC Cab 1000], which is ideal for “high care” food production applications. Hygiene solutions Alongside this new machine will be an extensive range of hygiene solutions that includes boot washers, a new version of the popular EC20 eurobin washer, a cabinet utensil washer, hygiene stations and detergents. Visitors to the event, which is being held at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, will be able to view IWM’s products and discuss their applications and benefits on stand C90. Exceptional flexibility This innovative new design “High Care” cabinet washer, which is the highlight of the stand, offers exceptional flexibility thanks to preset programs with various recipes for washing, rinsing and sanitising in any combination. Energy efficient It recirculates hot water with detergent for a total wash process, offers a 2nd stage sanitising hot rinse and/or a final sanitising cycle. The HC 100 is energy efficient, and it is eminently suitable for cleaning weigh pans, cutting boards, mixing bowls and other food manufacturing items. Time delayed magnetic door locks Users can chose from single or two-door options, which are suitable for low to high-care areas. To ensure extra safety, the machine is fitted with time-delayed magnetic door locks. Other products in the spotlight on the stand include the T400 High-Care single-lane continuous-wash tray washer, which is ideally suited for smaller to medium throughputs, or where operational space is at a premium. The T400 can accommodate up to 400 trays, crates or boxes per hour. It is typically supplied in a continuous straight-through tunnel configuration but overhead feed for one-person operation is optionally available, as are twin-tank versions for high care applications. Automatic lifting abilities IWM will also be showing for the first time at a major exhibition the new version of the EC20 cabinet washer with TravelJet technology. Designed to wash Eurobin buggies, the EC20 has integral automatic lifting capabilities. Exceptional wash performance The superior TravelJet travelling jet wash system used in this innovative machine offers exceptional wash performance on the internal and external surfaces and the wheels of Eurobins or wheeled buggies. The EC20 boasts sustained jetting with hot water and detergent re-circulated from a heated wash tank, which saves water and energy. A solenoid-controlled fresh rinse from the mains is provided as standard with hot rinse and rotary filtration are available as optional extras. A further option is an HMI panel for and fault diagnosis and for easy selection of more complex operations.
