Innovia Films, a leader in material science and a major producer of BOPP films, will be showcasing their latest innovations at Labelexpo Americas in Chicago. The event will feature Innovia's advanced portfolio for the labels, packaging, and graphics industries.
Among the highlights are sustainable and functional BOPP label materials designed for Pressure Sensitive, Wrap Around, and In Mold Labels, as well as Rayofloat shrink sleeve film, which supports the recycling of PET, HDPE, and PP bottles and containers.
Jon Knight, Vice President & General Manager – Americas, emphasized Innovia's commitment to sustainability, stating that their materials not only adhere to the principles of reduce, reuse, and recycle but also enhance the recyclability of finished packages while providing essential barrier functions to prevent food waste.
Innovia will also present its latest developments, including the thinner Rayoface™ CPE and WPE printable label films, which offer improved material efficiency and a lower carbon footprint, as well as Rayoface™ JBD, a semi-solid film with enhanced yield and opacity.
Additionally, Innovia's RayoFloat shrink sleeve film, endorsed by the Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR), offers a sustainable alternative to existing materials that hinder recycling. The company will also feature Rayoart™ PVC-Free Graphic Films, which significantly reduce the environmental impact of self-adhesive graphics and are more recyclable than traditional PVC-based films.
