- Gloss and matt PVC-free white graphics film, that incorporates innovative new surface technology
- Printable by eco-solvent, latex & UV inks
Innovia Films announces the launch of a sustainable wide format printable media film, that has a much lower carbon impact than alternatives currently being used in the market. RayoartTM GWES is a 78-micron film, which is available in both gloss and matt white. Using innovative new surface engineering technology so that it is printable by eco-solvent inks, UV & HP latex.
This new product has significant sustainability benefits versus PVC based media. The material has a 30% weight advantage over other film substrates of a comparable thickness. It also has a much lower carbon footprint and is free from plasticisers and chlorides. Which makes this film an excellent alternative to monomeric PVC.
Bron Hekkema, Business Unit Director Graphics, emphasises “These next generation products give outstanding print results on all ink technologies. The exceptional finish enhances the images, producing a premium result”.
“The 4 years outdoor durability and the ease of application of the films, makes them a perfect alternative for PVC graphic applications.” adds Bron.
