High performance at a range of temperatures Cast Polypropylene (CPP) is an un-oriented film which means it is more resistant to impact and low temperatures. CPP has increased in popularity in many traditional flexible packaging applications replacing polyethylene because it has higher clarity and gloss, better heat resistance and lay flat. The film properties can be customised to meet specific packaging, performance, and processing requirements. In general, CPP has higher tear and impact resistance, better cold temperature performance and heat-sealing properties. Innovia’s current range of transparent CPP films includes special grades that perform at a wide temperature range, from -25°C to 131°C. Film that can operate at high packaging speeds with good slip and anti-block properties and film with higher flexibility. Our films are typically used within laminate structures or to wrap bread, a range of fancy goods, fresh produce and other foods on HFFS, VFFS and overwrapping high speed packaging machines. All our CPP films are printable using either flexographic or rotogravure processes.
