Find The Needle Add My Company

Despite numerous challenges throughout 2024, including the impact of armed conflicts around the world and the UK government change, Insight Security has enjoyed another successful year. Christmas is a time for reflection and celebration, so we are taking the opportunity to look back at some of our achievements over the past 12 months.

Blogging and Social Media

Providing honest, trustworthy and genuinely useful information and guidance to our customers, and prospective customers, has always been a foundation of the Insight Security ethos. We are immensely proud of the consistently high review ratings and praising comments we receive from our diverse customer base.

We endeavour to present timely, helpful information to our customers and site visitors via our weekly blog posts. The topics we cover are often informed by the much-appreciated direct customer support our in-house team of security experts freely provide. And we are making effective use of various social media channels to engage with people and help them overcome their security challenges.

Bite-Size 90 Second Videos

We understand how the frantic pace of modern life means many people feel that they are always short of time and there aren’t enough hours in a day. Recognising these time pressures, we launched our growing collection of bite-size 90 Second Insight Videos.

In these short video presentations we answer many of the commonly asked questions such as: ‘How to Choose a Padlock’ and ‘Why You Need to Protect Your Downpipes’. The aim is to educate and inform by providing concise information that’s not overly technical, confusing or difficult to understand. These easily digested videos are proving to be very popular, enabling people to make informed choices to find the best security solutions for their needs.

Meeting Supply Chain Challenges

Geopolitical unrest, severe weather and various events like the Suez Canal Blockage have exacerbated supply chain issues that were still suffering the severe impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Insight Security has not been immune and over the past year we have had to deal with the loss of some valued, key suppliers, along with significant supply chain issues. But we are proud to have overcome these obstacles by establishing and building new relationships, ensuring our customers continue to enjoy excellent customer satisfaction and high quality products.

Big Boy 3 Ground Anchor Launched

The widely acclaimed Insight Security Big Boy ground anchor has reached version 3. The new Sold Secure Powered Cycle Diamond rated (Motorcycle Diamond) BigBoy 3 Ground Anchor now has new features to allow the use of super-high-security chains, ensuring our ground anchor meets the highest security standards and sits at the very top of the ground anchor league table.

Expertise Sought by the Daily Telegraph

Back in March 2024, the Daily Telegraph newspaper was conducting research for an article they were writing, entitled How to Deter Burglars from Your Home - by an ex-housebreaker.  They needed some guidance on how to secure and protect sheds and outbuildings, so they contacted our Insight Security experts.

We have extensive experience in providing effective solutions for outbuilding security, so our operations manager, Chris Nicholls, was happy to provide the Daily Telegraph with some valuable, actionable guidance which they shared with their readers. Our experts are always happy to freely provide advice and guidance, without any expectation of a sale.

Roller Barrier Grows in Popularity

Our Roller Barrier non aggressive anti-climb system has been growing in popularity throughout 2024. Many more organisations and domestic customers are now using this effective anti climb barrier to protect their properties and safely prevent climbing, where its dangerous or unwelcome.

Major Roller Barrier installations have been carried out at Government sites, large corporate sites, sports facilities and many other locations. And our anti-climb barrier has also been in worldwide demand from clients in the USA and for major installations in Australia, undertaken by our distributors.

Focus on Social Responsibility

Here at Insight Security we take our social responsibility seriously. We continuously endeavour to ensure sustainable, ethical business practices and always consider the impact our operations have on society and the environment.

A good example has been the installation and ongoing maintenance of a defibrillator outside our head offices in Lewes. This is the only defibrillator on the trading estate, offering 24/7 life-saving medical access. This is an invaluable life saving device that’s ready to be used by over 150 people, employed on the industrial estate, along with visitors and the general public.

Reduced Carbon Footprint

Here at Insight Security we are continuously endeavouring to reduce our environmental impact and develop our Carbon Reduction Policy. We have already made significant progress toward our targets by switching to energy efficient LED lighting, reducing the use of plastic packaging, making premises heating more efficient and enabling staff to work from home, minimising travel demands.

We are now engaging with manufacturers, suppliers, couriers and others to make further progress with our carbon reduction objectives.

Winning New Contracts

Although 2024 has been a challenging year we are pleased to have tendered for, and won, a number of valuable new contracts. These include the supply of reliable security products until 2027 for a government tender.

Many New Customers and Clients

While we love to establish new contracts with valuable clients we consider the needs of all our customers with the same high level of importance. Our in-house team of security experts have dealt with many enquiries over the past year, helping people find the best security solutions for their needs. We are proud of our consistently positive online review ratings which are exemplified in this recent (Nov. 2024) submission.

“The mark of a company is how they assist you if there are any issues. Insight-Security have conducted themselves with distinction. They have gone above and beyond. Well done from one very satisfied customer.”

Over the past year we have gained many new friends and valued customers and we’re looking forward to expanding our business into new areas and markets as we progress into 2025.

Looking Forward to 2025

We anticipate that 2025 will be equally as challenging as 2024, but also very rewarding. We would like to extend our thanks to everyone who has supported our business in 2024 and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous new year.
