Freestanding platform lift is the ideal fit!

Invalift’s commercial screw and nut drive platform lift is the perfect solution for many different lift requirements. We’ve recently fitted one for a large retail client based in Birmingham. The process started after the client requested a quote for a lift. The lift experts at Invalifts visited the site and discussed the requirements for the lift. The client was looking for free standing platform lift with a capacity of 400Kg and the capability to take a wheelchair user or parent with a buggy to the mezzanine floor. The client was initially unsure which lift product would be most suitable, but after speaking to several other platform lift suppliers, the Commercial platform lift from Invalifts was chosen due to the flexibility of the free standing design, competitiveness of price and support from the Invalifts sales team. The final location of the platform lift was discussed at length and it was agreed that locating the platform lift next to the staircase would ensure families would not be separated while getting to the mezzanine floor. Wheelchair users, those less able to take the stairs or parents with buggies could all use the platform lift without being separated. The option of a fixed ramp at the ground floor landing was also decided on. This removed the need to dig a 50mm recess in the floor. So, all that was required from the client was the provision of a 240v, 16 amp power supply to allow Invalifts to supply and install the screw and nut drive platform lift. Installation was completed over just two days ensuring the platform lift was handed over to the end client in plenty of time for their grand opening.
