Ixthus Instrumentation Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has just been appointed as the exclusive UK representative for marketing International Transducer Corporation's range of air transducers. International Transducer Corporation (ITC) offer both standard and custom state-of-the-art performance transducers for Industrial. Medical and Food Processing applications, including: Proximity detection, level, distance, position, etc. ITC Standard Sensors are designed for use as ultrasonic proximity and level sensors in three frequencies: 92kHz, 150kHz, and 215kHz to cover sensing ranges from 50mm to over 4metres. The sensors have increased sensitivity, narrow directional response with no side lobes, relative low "Q", in small package sizes. When enhanced sensing ranges are needed the improved sensitivity and low "Q" can provide a broader min. to max. sensing range. Target discrimination is improved by a narrow beam angle with no side lobes to allow more precise location of closely grouped targets and help solve spurious acoustic signals causing false triggers.
