Since the ground-breaking ceremony on 6 July this year, the construction work for the new storage and logistics center of JULABO Labortechnik GmbH has made swift progress. The shell construction was finished on Friday 28 September and JULABO celebrated a successful topping-out ceremony with approximately 250 people. Guests included the mayor of Seelbach Mr. Schäfer, the architects Mrs. and Mr. Keienburg and team as well as the companies Echle, Haller, Reinhard & Walter, Isenmann and Eichhorn & Engler representing all construction and trade businesses involved in the new building. The new storage and logistics center is an essential part of the strategic growth plans for JULABO in the coming years. The building will be ready for occupancy this year. The new facility is the first phase of the expansion at the headquarters with a total capital expenditure of approximately 4 million Euros. The second construction phase will include an office and social building with a total surface area of approx. 900 sqm. It will connect the existing building with the new storage and logistics center. This construction project clearly emphasizes JULABO’s commitment to Seelbach and Germany as a production location.
