Wood is nice, recycled plastic wood is better

We do like a nice bit of wood.

How long does it take for wood too loose its looks when exposed to the elements continually? No long. Start maintenance at least after year 2 or earlier and replace in at least 7 years.

It's a lot of work to maintain wood.

However, it's perfectly possible these days to get the look and feel of wood but without the yearly round of maintenance, painting, etc.

All you have to do is replace your wooden garden bench or raised bed, or planter with a synthetic wood equivalent.

Synthetic or plastic wood is just as easy to work with using exactly the same tools. Try some and see.
