Please Note This adapter WILL NOT convert an optical connection (TOS) to a analogue 3.5mm jack connection (For example a headphone socket). To do this a converter is needed.

This adapter is designed to convert a digital TOS plug (Square optical connection) to a 3.5mm OPTICAL connection found on digital equipment such as MP3 Players or Mini Disc players. Please do not attempt to use this adapter to convert from a Digital connection to a standard 3.5mm analogue input like a headphone jack as this will not work.
