The Challenge:

Unilever, a global leader in consumer goods, requires all suppliers and their products to meet specific compliance criteria, particularly concerning hazardous substances. The challenge was to meet these standards in a way that reassures our customers of the safety and quality of our GOTS Organic Cotton Socks.

The Process:

Unilever requests a pre-screening test for our award-winning GOTS Organic Cotton Socks.

A third-party auditor, called Intertek, conducts the pre-screening test on a sample of these socks. Upon passing the pre-screening test, Unilever issues a purchase order. After receiving the purchase order, a comprehensive bulk test is conducted with more samples and a deeper evaluation. Intertek checks various variables to ensure compliance with Unilever's stringent standards. Successful bulk testing confirms our products meet all necessary regulations, allowing us to proceed with the order.

The Solution:

Kingly have various internal OEKO-TEX certifications that were presented along with the samples that were tested for harmful substances. We partnered with Intertek for impartial product reviews, ensuring compliance with all regulations. Each batch of socks underwent thorough hazardous substance testing, documented in a detailed report by Intertek.

Results and Key Achievements:

Kingly successfully passed the Unilever compliance check, underscoring our dedication to quality and compliance. The detailed report from Intertek confirmed that our knitted socks are free from hazardous substances, aligning with Unilever’s high standards. This is what we have achieved:
