Aneliya Petrishka: Adventure seeker who handles every task with care

Aneliya Petrishka is Kingly’s Executive Secretary. She has great organizational skills which help her handle every day-to-day tasks at the company with ease and extra care. She also like to explore new destinations and to dive into different cultures. Any, tell us a little bit about your role at Kingly. What are you involved with? At Kingly I am an Executive Secretary. For the past 7 years I have worked at one of biggest Bulgarian company for children’s toys. I felt very good there and I accomplished a lot of things. But 7 years is too much and I needed a change. I have been looking for something like this. Actually, I sent my CV to only two companies and both of them called me. I was surprised. What was the thing that attracted you to come work for Kingly and not the other company? I choose Kingly because I didn’t have the chance to speak to many foreigners at my previous workplace. I felt my English was a bit rusty. I decided this job would give me the opportunity to practice it which I found attractive. It is also very close to where I live – it’s nine minutes away with the car. I have a good feeling for this job. What do you think are your strengths that will help you contribute to the team? What are the good practices from your previous job that you want to bring into the company? I am pretty determined. A perfectionist. I don’t think that this is either good or bad. I like to accomplish things. When I have a task, I want to get it done. I am good in communicating with other people which was what the company was looking for. I like everything to be in order, so I think my organizational skills would be appreciated. The atmosphere was a bit chaotic when I first came here and maybe it’s triggering my eternal cleanliness freak. Also, I’m not afraid to speak with people, make demands, ask for prices/discounts, etc. And one of most important things – all of my working experience, includes close contact with courier/logistic companies. So, this will be big plus for this job. Do you want to come clean my place? (Laughs) For the right price. Good answer! And who do you depend most on within the team? Probably Mira and Dessy. I understand that she used to do what I am doing now and she is always ready to help me with advice. I would probably have questions to everyone in the team, but probably I would mostly have to rely on her or on Dessy. Could you tell me a little bit about your hobbies, what do you do in your spare time? I like to read very much. I have quite a few favourite authors – Steven King is my favourite. I like to travel but because of the quarantine I cannot do that. At least for now. I like to go for a walk with my sister or with my friends who I couldn’t see for a long time because of the pandemic outbreak. Where do you like to travel when you have the time and the opportunity? Italy is my favorite country. Greece is my second favourite one. Last year I travelled to Israel. It’s very good, I highly recommend it.
