The European-based merchandise producer is focused on creating sustainable alternatives to the traditional promotional products. Kingly received Honors for its environmental, social, ethical and transparency initiatives with regards to their GOTS-certified organic cotton socks. Scan the code to read the full sustainability report by BCOME. The composition of these socks is 80% Organic Cotton, 17% regenerated Post Consumer Polyamide (Nylon) and 3% Elastane. No toxic chemicals are used in the growing of organic cotton. It doesn't damage the soil, has less impact on the air, and uses 88% less water and 62% less energy. Conventional cotton uses about 16% of the world's insecticides and 7% of pesticides. The GOTS certification ensures the organic status of textiles from the harvesting of the raw materials through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing all the way to labelling, in order to provide credible assurances to the consumer. The standard covers the processing, manufacturing, packaging, labelling, trading and distribution of all textiles made from at least 70 percent certified organic natural fibers.
