In spite of their minimal depth they allow switch developments with up to 24 positions. Their current rating ranges from 6A to 25A. An A-Series switch can comprise up to 12 stages. If a switch development requires more than 48 contacts, several switches can be coupled in series or driven in parallel by tandem drives. Typical applications are multi-step switches with numerous poles.
