In order to protect human health and the environment, the following EU standards and regulations to restrict dangerous substances were passed: 2006/1907/EG REACH standard 2000/53/EG Standard for waste cars 2002/95/EG RoHS standard 2002/96/EG WEEE standard RoHS = Restruction of the use of Hazardous Substances WEEE = Waste Electrical and Electronical Equipment REACH= Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals
