Laser printers use heat and/or pressure to bond a dry powder (toner) onto a surface. This means that laser labels will have materials that have a smooth surface so that the toner can be bonded evenly in the correct position, which improves print accuracy and quality. Paper laser labels will also usually have a higher moisture content to help prevent them from drying out and cracking during the printing process.
Laser labels can be used for a wide variety of label applications, although they are particularly popular for long term, tracking, outdoor, and speciality applications. This is because the laser printing process products waterproof print, which means that your printed designs will not be damaged by exposure to water. We supply two splashproof paper labels (which can be safely wiped clean and dry if lightly splashed with water), along with a variety of fully waterproof labels.
