New Advance Guardrail
The BoSS Cam-Lock Advance Guardrail is a hybrid of the brace system and guardrail and is a significant improvement on the traditional red and blue brace system using the "through the trap" or 3t method or with an advanced guardrail. Youngman’s has designed an advanced guardrail section that now attaches on the scaffold towers as it is erected and replaces the red and blue braces. This eliminates the situation where a contractor is sitting on an unguarded scaffold tower platform. In addition, because of it requires fewer parts, speeds the erection of the tower. Finally, fewer parts translates to less exposure for contractors for parts that have gone missing due to theft or loss.
This product is a scaffold tower addition that has been introduced to prevent workers falling off scaffold towers while they are erecting them,” says Matt Browne. “The BoSS Cam-Lock Advance Guardrail is the ideal solution for contractors who are concerned for the safety and well-being of their workers, while at the same time looking for a product that provides for the erection of a scaffold, faster, easier, safer – and with less parts. It is the best, most cost-effective solution for this application.
