Lasermet Europe GmbH is Lasermet’s Euopean Sales and Supply provider based in Düsseldorf, Germany. European customers can now order Lasermet’s laser safety products and services direct from this German company. The German sales office staff can discuss laser safety issues and provide solutions for any of the range of products and services. Following the launch of the division during the recent BlechExpo Sheet Metal Exhibition in Stuttgart, the German staff look forward to fulfilling the orders and following up the extensive number of enquiries generated by visitors to the showstand. The star of the show was the highly popular Laser Castle Lite – the low-cost, self-assembly, modular laser safety cabin designed specifically for the Hand-held laser welding market. Delivered direct to the customer, the 3m x 3m laser safety enclosure can be easily assembled in just a few hours. It includes the ICS Solo laser interlock controller which ensures the laser can only be operated once the door is closed and maglocked – thereby protecting personnel outside the enclosure. Optional accessories include the Yoyo guillotine door, which is a fast-acting laser safety door ideal for automation. It also connects to the laser interlock to ensure that the laser only fires when the door is closed.
