As a result of many years of work Lasermet has now been awarded UKAS Accreditation for safety testing laser installations off-site (as opposed to within the confines of the Lasermet lab). This is a major recognition for Lasermet as this means that the off-site testing of laser system has the full backing of UKAS for Lasermet’s capability.
Large laser installations – too big or too expensive to move can now be tested in-situ to the Laser Safety Standards within BS EN 60825-1:2014, 2007, 2001 (off-site).
