The NEMA5-15 plug (Type B plug) used on this cable complies to UL 817 and CSA 22.2 NO21 for use in America, Canada and Mexico to name a few. This connector is rated at 10 amps and 125 volts. The IEC 60320 C13 kettle connector complies to IEC60320-1 standards and is one of the most common if not the most common type of IEC connector in the world.
