Regional IOSH role for Lorien staff member

Health and safety specialist Ralph Weaver is enjoying two new appointments in as many weeks. As well as joining Lichfield based Lorien Engineering Solutions as Health & Safety Advisor he is also taking on the role of Midland Branch Chair for the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). Looking forward to the new challenges, Ralph said: "It's an honour to be representing over 3,600 IOSH members in the Midlands to promote safer and healthier working. "I'm similarly enthused about joining the team at Lorien, where I'll have the opportunity to develop further as a Chartered Safety, Health, Quality and Environmental Practitioner. Ralph has been an active member of IOSH for many years, and his appointment is fantastic news for both IOSH and Lorien." Other areas of specialism are manufacturing performance improvement, sustainability and health & safety consultancy. The company has just received the RoSPA Order Of Distinction for the third consecutive year, recognising its performance in occupational health and safety within construction.
