The sludge tank at our client?s paint facility plays a crucial part in their production system. The external hopper was in need of replacement due to signs of corrossion. Lubet re-produced the hopper using measurements taken from the existing design, whilst at the same time upgrading the hopper from carbon steel to stainless steel to provide an increased service life. Minimal downtime was achieved by pre-fabricating the replacement hopper at our workshop, leaving minimal welding and fitting to be done on site.
