CMM and tensile testing covers

Pleated covers are used in applications requiring the cover to be lightweight. They are predominantly used in the metrology & measurement sectors. Pleated-type construction using rip-stop nylon fabric will result in an expandable, tear-resistant concertina cover. The covers are usually fitted using Velcro hook, which is attached to the cover end flanges. Profiled, self-adhesive Velcro loop is supplied loose, making the covers easy to fit & remove. The lightweight design allows for little or no interference with the machine?s measuring process or accuracy. Typical applications are coordinate measuring machine systems (CMMs), component inspection & tensile testing machines. High-precision slideways & actuators are covered against the ingress of dust and contaminants, preventing loss of accuracy, extending service life & protecting operators from potential injury.
