TP Chuck Guard
The steel safety guards for lathes with large to medium-sized chucks are designed with two hinged sections and are equipped with two micro switches. The first hinged section is located at the front, allowing for easy inspection and repositioning of the workpiece when the chuck is not rotating. The second hinged section is positioned at the rear, enabling the entire guard to be tilted back and away from the chuck. This guard provides additional coverage for the rear of the chuck, offering enhanced protection against ejection hazards and aiding in the containment of coolant. The presence of integral micro switches ensures that both sections of the guard must be in place before the machine can be started.
