Edalco Tapping attachments and spindles

Edalco are a family owned company based in Geneva, Switzerland. They specialise in tapping attachments, tapping spindles and speed increasers .The attachments are self reversing and designed for use on pillar drills, bench drills, Bridgeports mills etc.The spindles are available in two forms, the BTNRD and the Synchro.BTNRD spindles are for use on machining centres and CNC lathes. The main feature is a neutral position at the end of the tension stroke. This neutral allows the tap to stop rotating before the machine stops thereby removing all the machine stress and shock from the tap. This dramatically reduces tap breakage. Synchro is a relatively new innovation. These small spindles are for use on machines with synchronised tapping cycles. The spindle has a very small tension stroke.
