Born in New York City in 1896, Dr Hangsterfer was dedicated to the research, development and manufacture of high quality, high performance metalworking fluids. In the 1940s he established Hangsterfers Laboratories Incorporated in New Jersey and built the headquarters on 90 acres of farmland. Hangsterfers is still at the same location today, the offices and factories at the end of a tree lined avenue - mature trees planted as seedlings by the founder many years ago. On the surface of the small stream that flows under the Japanese bridge leading to the church, water boatmen scurry about their business. Blue jays and squirrels hurry through the trees while in the evening, deer can be found grazing a few feet from the factory wall.Nowhere will you find evidence of pollution. Hangsterfers employees work in an environment created by the company founder, an environment created willingly 60 years ago without legislative pressure. His policy continues to this day. This means products undergo strict stability and toxicological studies before their introduction. No ozone depleting chemicals, no VOCs, no PCBs, no dioxins, no harsh biocide type chemicals such as formaldehyde or morpholine to harm the operator. Base oils are severely hydrotreated to remove carbon aromatics. All this care and quality control lead to an end product with an excellent shelf and service life. Hangsterfers products are exported all over the world, Europe - Japan - Singapore etc. Service life is not measured in weeks, Hangsterfers users expect and get long service life, S500 users report service life of 12 months and more with a little care and maintenance. Hangsterfers are fully ISO 9001 certified with quality control procedures second to none.By switching to a Hangsterfers product, you can quickly turn a functional operation into an exceptionally smooth and productive one.
