Speedmax is the trade name for solid carbide drills and milling cutters manufactured by the German carbide specialist Rubig. Production of solid carbide tooling began in 1973 and market demand since then has led to a year on year increase in production.Today the factory extends to 3200 square metres with a workforce of 265 operating both conventional and CNC machine tools. The investment in CNC equipment is quite large for the size of the company and at the present moment around 50 CNC machines are utilised.
