Hysteresis/Force Testing

We are currently testing voice coil motors which are used in life support systems. Since this is a critical care application, the motors must conform to strict FDA requirements. Each component is 100% tested prior to and during the assembly process. After the motor is assembled, we accurately measure the force, hysteresis and shaft length of the motor. To pass the tests, the motor must fall within tight tolerances as specified by the customer.
