Equestrian Surfaces

We recommend equestrian surfaces consisting of a 100mm (4 inch) layer of Silica Sand followed by a 50mm (2 inch) layer of Arena Flex� Rubber Chippings. We have supplied thousands of tonnes of each product and have found the combination to provide good all round equestrian surfaces. It is not essential that Rubber Chippings are used in combination with the Silica Sand although the Rubber Chippings help to take the 'deadness' out of the sand by giving the cushion and response required from surfaces when jumping or taking part in dressage. Our Equestrian Rubber Chippings also do a great job in helping to preserve moisture in the sand and reduce wind erosion.
