Graphite Slate Gabion Stone

Our 50-150mm** Graphite Slate Gabion Stone is one of the smallest of our gabion range and is more suited to gabion projects utilising 50mm mesh instead of standard 75mm, such as when constructing planters, fences, barbeques and also for narrow baskets. The product can be used with standard 75mm mesh but the larger stone will need to be handpicked and installed at the face of the basket to prevent smaller material falling through. The bluey/grey colours are pale and subtle when dry, bright and striking when wet. The flat nature of this product allows for a much more compact fill of gabion baskets, with a nice flat basket face easily achievable.
