We have recently completed a number of sister vessels for CAP / Class UTM. To reduce costs the ship owner arranged small towers of staging along the centreline for the surveyor to access and from these towers our team of IRATA qualified rope access inspectors climbed out across the deck transverse and took UTM readings and had a live video stream that the surveyor was able to watch and direct our inspectors accordingly to cover class society close-up requirements. This saved both time and cost on large amounts of staging and satisfied class requirements.
