Leading roofing manufacturer Marley Eternit has reinforced its commitment to clay with the launch of a dedicated microsite to help builders and specifiers choose the right clay plain tile from its range. In 2006, the company invested in new technology at its clay tile factory in Keele - with the aim of making clay a more affordable choice. To support this investment, this year Marley Eternit has launched its new microsite – www.sampleclay.co.uk. The site showcases the entire range of Marley Eternit clay plain tiles, which boasts the widest range of colours and textures combined with environmentally sustainable credentials. However, the new site is not just a showcasing tool, samples of the clay products can be easily ordered using a ‘shopping basket’ facility, allowing visitors to see first hand the quality of aesthetics that the clay plain tiles offer. Diana Bullock, clay campaign manager from Marley Eternit, explains: “Clay tiles are growing in popularity because of the authentic, natural look they bring to a roof.
