Matcon 'Open Day' Event – Seeing is believing!

Matcon Systems are highly reputable and already well utilized by many major companies in China. One such customer is Stern, a German Food Ingredients company located in Suzhou. On 5th May 2011, Stern and Matcon co-hosted an Open Day, showcasing and demonstrating to potential clients key equipment recently installed in Stern's facility, including a Raw Material Transfer System, IBC Blending System and Packing System. This gave clients the opportunity to see equipment in operation, rather than just models and pictures. Attendees from the 18 companies represented were very impressed by the smart design solutions, advanced manufacturing skills and "Lean" manufacturing operation. The presentation of Matcon's products and "Lean" solutions generated much interest, resulting in many individual meetings with potential customers being arranged following the event. China, as the major component of the powerful Asian market, is in a critical position; however powder processing in China is a developing market. It is inevitable that Matcon products will provide a new world for Chinese industry. "Hosting this event together with Matcon was a great success and there was a lot of useful interaction between our respective guests.
