DMS-21 DoorWatcher Door Egress Wristband Detection Monitor Strip (only) ? Sounds a visual and audible alert when a patient wristband is detected close to the monitor strip ? Choice of alarm notification devices, pager, existing nurse call integration Included: 1 x DMS-21 Wristband detection strip, 1 x UK plug power adaptor, 1 x cabled magnetic door contact switch set, 1 x magnetic caregiver reset fob. The DMS-21 wristband door egress alarm is used in conjunction with TXP-21 patient wristbands. The wristband(s) continually transmit intermittent low power short range radio signals. Depending on the selected detection range, when a resident is too close to the monitor strip the alarms are triggered, including operation of optional electronic door strike to lock the door(s), radio transmission to signal caregiver receiver devices, and output to trigger a connected nurse call system. An alarm bypass allows care staff to move freely accompanying a patient though a monitored space. A configurable relay output provides connection to third party devices. The included magnetic door switch can be wired into the DMS-21 to provide a door still open alarm (time configurable).
