A major advance in characterising proteins has been made with the introduction of the DelsaMax range from Beckman Coulter. Particle size and zeta potential can be measured simultaneously in a few seconds on just a few microlitres of sample. 31 detectors independently determine the sample zeta potential and a further detector provides particle size measurement. An optional pressurisation system eliminates bubble formation during measurement. The DelsaMax has been designed to overcome the challenge of making measurements on delicate protein particles without perturbing them and can measure concentrations down to 1mg/ml of lysozyme. Our demonstration unit will be available to show you the speed and simplicity of operation.
