2016 was an important year for us in many ways. First of all, it was filled with exciting news and events. Secondly, it was the year when we truly started blogging and sharing industry-specific and corporate information through our Metso experts. Talking openly about our knowledge, our people and our solutions – that’s how we can make a big difference to our customers. Altogether more than 100 blog posts were published in our blog hub covering various topics. The most read blog posts reflect both popular themes like digitalization, technology and safety, as well as some of our key milestones. In 2016, we won a couple of globally acknowledged awards, participated in major international events, such as MINexpo and Bauma, and launched many innovative products and solutions. In addition, we developed our thinking on how to include the big megatrends like digitalization and urbanization in everything we do. And last but not least, as part of our big organizational change, our headquarters moved to new, modern office premises. Here they are - enjoy reading our TOP10 blog posts of 2016: 1. HRC™3000 – Mining Magazine 2015 Innovation Award Mining Magazine has recognized Metso’s HRC™3000 high-pressure grinding roll with its annual Minerals Processing award. 2. Over 7,000 users choose Bruno simulation software Selecting the right crusher and screen for a given process is not a simple job. To make it easier, Metso developed Bruno simulation software, which simulates the production process. It’s a great example of how Metso has increasingly been using digitalization right across the value chain to increase the customer’s business efficiency. 3. Supply-chain digitalization - one winning team on and off the pitch How many players in the English Premier Soccer League are actually English? Not as many as you’d think.
