"My name is Roy Hilton I am the factory engineering manager at Kingsland wines and spirits, I have known Mobility Engineering for many years and when asked to supply a testimonial for their new web site I felt it was a good way of assisting other engineers and a way of saying thank you for the good service I have received from Mobility over the years. I first used their services when I was the engineering manager at Hellermann Tyton in Wythenshawe Manchester, Hellermann are a high volume manufacturer of cable ties and under bonnet fasteners for the automotive industry. I was working on a project of reducing cable tie wastage, which involved getting quotes for conveyors which were to be fitted to existing injection moulding machines, but needed bespoke containment and conveyors for each machine and application, I contacted several conveyor manufacturers while trawling the market inviting their reps. in to discuss our requirements, one of these was Anthony Reid he stood out as it was clear he was not just gathering information to take back for someone else to come up with a solution, he not only wanted to know what the installation needed (machine to work station) he was really interested in the project and wanted to get a full understanding of what issues we were encountering which were driving the requirement for changing our existing set-up and also what our experience had been to date using "off the shelf equipment" from our discussions proposals were duly supplied and a trial unit supplied, which worked very well from there we converted other "problem" systems and progressed to using Mobility for new machine installations. Since leaving Hellermann I do not have the requirement for purpose made conveyor systems but I have kept in touch with Anthony and used their expertise and breadth of knowledge to provide solutions to issues encountered at Kingsland. Because of my experience of working with Mobility Engineering I would recommending them to anyone as they are not in the business of making a "quick profit" no matter how big or small the job they want to fully understand your requirements and any issues you are having first, then they will offer proposals based on your requirements but using their experience and expertise to ensure they supply the solution you require at a cost effective price."
