Ohio Tool Works Introduces New OTW-3000 Horizontal Honing Machine Ohio Tool Works Corporation is proud to introduce for the first time during the Houstex-2011 trade show the model OTW-3000 series horizontal honing machine to its line of industrial, production platforms. Customers around the world with requirements to efficiently process bores to 16” ID will appreciate the rugged design and power of the model OTW-3000 at a price point similar to lighter duty equipment offered throughout the marketplace. The powerful 20 HP spindle drive offered with a wide selection of infinitely variable speed packages provides for efficient application of both vitrified and metalbond abrasive products. It's 10 HP servo-drive reciprocation system provides infinitely variable stroke speeds to 100 feet per minute. To complete the all electric platform, the model OTW-3000 features an electric-linear tool expansion system allowing for the use of our exclusive “Median Size Control” system on select models. The OTW-3000, is available in a variety of standard and custom stroke configurations to 36 feet to meet industrial production requirements worldwide.
